Raipur, July 28, 2010: Chhattisgarh Chief minister Dr Raman Singh today moved the first supplementary budget of over Rs 984 crore in the state assembly.
As the Finance Minister, Singh moved the supplementary budget of Rs 984,58,23,300 in the state assembly.
In this budget the government had sought the approval of the house for Rs 75.9 crore for the conduct of survey of the people living under below poverty line, Rs 10 crore for police modernisation and Rs 5.5 crore for the improvement of the airstrips of the Jagdalpur and Sarguja.
The budget has provision of Rs 137.50 crore for purchase of sacks, Rs 138.58 crore for National Agriculture Development Scheme among others.
