     Kawardha, June 10, 2009: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today said the state government has undertaken several steps to provide elaborate facilities for the tourist at the famous Bhoram Dev temple area.

     The eleventh century Bhoram Dev temple is one of the valuable cultural treasures of Chhattisgarh, Singh said today on the third day of his district level contact campaign.

     After dedicating a Rs 7.6 crore connecting road to Bhoram Dev, the Chief Minister said his government was serious about the development of the area in Kawardha district.

     Besides other things, elaborate arrangements are being made to cater to the need of the domestic and foreign tourists to the Bhoram Dev area

     District Collector Siddhartha Komal Pardeshi informed him that a beautification work was under progress in and around the temple premises with the funds from the National Rural Employment Guarantee Programme, Tourism and Culture Departments.
