Ambikapur, August 3, 2009: A Committee has been formed in Sarguja District for rehabilitation of the naxalites, officials said.
As per the order of the Chhattisgarh Government, the Sarguja District Administration has set up a committee, led by the District Collector, for the rehabilitation of the naxalites, officials said today.
In the Naxal rehabilitation Committee, the District SPs of Sarguja, Balrampur and Surajpur have been made members, they said.
The District Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer, North, South and Eastern Forest Divisional officers, Deputy Director Agriculture, District Education Officers of Ambikapur, Surajpur and Ramanujganj and the Assistant Commissioner of tribal Welfare Department have been made members of the Committee, they said.
