Raman accepts Resignation of Salim Raj

     Raipur, February 06, 2012: Chhattisgarh government has accepted the resignation of Dr Salim Raj from the Chairmanship of the State Haj Committee.

     The state government has accepted the resignation of Dr Salim Raj from the membership and the Chairmanship of the State Haj Committee, an official release said here today.

     The resignation of the senior BJP leader was accepted on January 18, last.

     The release was silent why he had tendered his resignation.

     Meanwhile, the state government has appointed Mohammed Akram Rizvi as the Chairman of the Committee for the rest of the period.
