     Raipur, December 27, 2011: Chhattisgarh has earned a revenue of over Rs 296 crore from the Transport Department alone, a review meeting was informed today.

     The Transport Department has earned a revenue of Rs 296.28 crore till November 2011, Transport Department officials said here.

    Alone in the month of November the Department has earned Rs 40.34 crore, they said.

     Both the earned and expected revenue and other matters were today discussed in a review meeting, conducted by Principal Secretary Transport and Home A N Aswal.

     It had also been decided in the meeting to take stern action against the vehicles, which are plying without complete documents or fitness, they said.
