     Mahasamund, May 1, 2009: The District Returning Officer of Mahasamund Parliamentary Seat Surendra Kumar Jaiswal today banned any type of tobacco materials inside the counting hall on May 16.

     Cigarettes, Bidis, and Gutkhas are not allowed inside the counting premises, said the District Collector.

     Besides that, mobile phone and cameras have also been banned during the counting inside the premises, according to officials.

      After inspecting the counting premises here today, Jaiswal asked the local administration to provide elaborate security arrangements and said the candidates also can not enter the counting hall with their body guards.

      He also reviewed the arrangements for the Press for the counting day.
