Manendragarh, June 20, 2023: Union Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Giriraj Singh today reviewed various developmental works here in north of Chhattisgarh.
The Minister reviewed various works and directed the district administration to carry out large scale plantation.
Singh also asked the district administration to give top priority to water conservation, official sources said.
The Union Minister reviewed the progress in MGNREGS, skilled development works, Ayushman card, PM Awas Yojana, Swachh Bharat mission.
Singh also asked for details of progress in PM Sadak yojana and integrated watershed management programme among others.
All should be benefitted from the welfare schemes of the government, he said and asked the administration to ensure no eligible beneficiary should be left out from any schemes.
The Minister called upon people to plant trees on road sides that can bear fruits and give shadows to the people. This will also preserve and conserve the environment, he added.
