Ex-RSS Chief Sudarshan passes away

     Raipur, September 15, 2012: Former Chief of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh K S Sudarshan passed away here today.

     Sudarshan passed away at the RSS headquarters here of a cardiac arrest, RSS sources said.

     Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and several prominent personalities and commonmen paid tributes to Sudarshan.

     The former Chief of RSS was born on June 18, 1931 at Raipur.

     He took over as the Chief of RSS on March 10, 2000 and continued in that post till March 21, 2009.

     His body would be flown to Nagpur later in the day for last rites tomorrow, they said.
