Ambikapur, August 23, 2009: Food Department officials of Chhattisgarh are seems not taking seriously the directives of the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh.
When the state has launched a campaign against the hoarding of essential commodities, the Food Department officials here in Sarguja district are taking the order of the state Government very lightly and even several of the officials are on leave without taking any permission from the higher authorities.
During a review meeting, District Collector Kamalpreet Singh today found the Food Inspector of Kusmi, Shivendra Bahadur Kamte as unauthorisedly absent from his headquarters.
Four other Food Inspectors were also found missing, officials said.
Kamte has been suspended by the District Collector and actions against four other officials have also been initiated, they said.
