Bilaspur, June 30, 2009: Senior IAS officer Shiv Kumar Tiwari today retired from the services.
Tiwari, a promoted IAS officer, was the Commissioner of Bilaspur Division from April 14, 2008, and was retired today from the government service.
He would be replaced by Rajendra Prasad Jain, another promoted Officer, General Administration Department said.
Tiwari was today given farewell by various organisations, officials and individuals here.
In a function, District Collector Sonmani Borah recalled his association with Tiwari.
Similarly the staff of the Bilaspur Commissionerate, led by Deputy Commissioner Darshanita Ahluwalia, also gave a warm send off to their Commissioner.
