Raipur, September 29, 2012: Senior police officer Ram Niwas was today appointed Special Director General by the Chhattisgarh Government.
Additional Director General Ram Niwas is promoted and posted with same responsibility of Chhattisgarh Armed Force and Naxal Operation as Special DG, official sources said.
Ram Niwas could be the next Director General of Police after the retirement of DGP Anil M Navaney, the sources claimed.
